I am from Willow Glen and this band was from cross rival high school. But we loved this song cause it swings.

I saw The People play in a teen night club in northern lower Michigan way back when (1969?), called the Club Ponytail just outside of Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Love this song. Great job after all these years! 👍🏻

From 1979 t0 '83 I worked at the station as a cameraperson and floor director. Stew Park and Bud Howard were still there. Stew had moved to administrative end and Bud into the film department, editing feature length movies for time. Once to Bud's chagrin however, his film department did manage to accidentally excise the solo rendition of the titular song for 1954's 'White Christmas'; drawing the local ire of many a film fan. Then there was the KNTV News department's "Miracle on Ice" fiasco, but that's another story... ;-)

And he probably hasn't performed all that much in recent years compared to Larry! Larry looks like he's just going through the motions here--and it used to be the other way around. He was the singer in People that had all the charisma

WOW, they sure were rocking that night. GREAT sound after all these years. I have their Buddah Records 45 of "Brown Paper Bag" that was a song that got a lot of airplay on San Jose's KLIV at the time. Their song "You" from their album should have also been a single since it is that good. Both songs are on RUclips. (I was born and raised in San Jose and lived there for almost 60 years before moving away.)
